派翠西亞．康薇爾 Patricia Cornwell

　　一九五六年出生於邁阿密。她的職業生涯從主跑社會新聞的記者開始，一九八四年在維吉尼亞州的法醫部門擔任檢驗紀錄員。一九八四年～八六年間，康薇爾根據自身的法醫工作經驗寫下了三本小說，然而一開始的出書過程並不順利。
